Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.

You Can Help

We are happy to announce one of the exciting developments; our alliance with Catholics for the Common Good.  In 2008, when we were asked to help in the effort to promote Yes on Prop 8, the initiative to defend traditional marriage between one man and one woman, we were scrambling all over trying to get support, putting up signs, demonstrating on street corners. At that time we were concerned that the oppostition had a chance of overturning the mandate of the electorate in a previous election when the initiative had won convincingly.  Unfortunately, this issue willl not soon fade away. The forces who favor same sex marriage are unrelenting in their pursuit of redfining marriage for society as a whole. This cannot be allowed since we all know that the foundation of a Christian society is the family composed of a mother, a father and their offsprings. We must do everything we can to be prepared to meet the challenges that are sure to present themselves in coming elections. The most important way to prepare is throuh education.
Catholics for the Common Good(CCG) have invested time and resources, organized a group of knowledgeable experts in the field to make this education possible for the general public.  We at Pope John Paul II (PJPII) endorse the efforts of CCG and have joined them in vigorous defense of traditional marriage. CCG have prepared programs to train our supporters in the art of defending traditional marriage in an unaggressive, intelectually prepared and effective manner.  We have all heard of the child who comes home and tells the parents of what she may have been exposed to in school that gays have rights to happiness, they are not so bad and that the parents are old fashioned  Many are unable to counter effectively. This training demonstrates and explains with care how to handle these situations as well as situations with friends, acquaintances and even relatives who may support the gay lifestyle.

A series of training seminars and retreats starts this coming May 16 at St. Mel's in Norco. We encourage every members who lives in the area to join us for this one day training session which starts at 8 am and ends promptly at 4 pm.  Breakfast and lunch is provided. Mass is at 11 AM in the main Church. Do come. We need your help.
Let us prepare in advance rather than scamble at the last moments, nervous and unprepared. God bless you all.
